This song is about how the "Reclaim Australia" group are nothing more than ill-informed racists standing behind a banner of "Proud Australians" whilst ignoring the monumental irony that the way of life we enjoy is built upon a history of theft, suffering and ongoing dispossession of indigenous people.

The patriots gather in the dark
to spill the lowest form of love from their hearts
To the confidence of the ignorant
who stamp their feet and bellow vitriol

Where is their rage for the ones who die incarcerated on our watch?
Victims of a system that’s intent on grinding their culture into dust

You want to reclaim this country and keep your children safe
Do you know whose land you’re standing on?
How can you ignore our history? There’s been no treaty made
You have to face what you can’t outrun

What’s to reclaim of your history?
A right to bigotry and some scapegoats to spit on?
I don’t have any sympathy for these deluded claims
when you’ve got it so fucking wrong
